On 12/12/2018, the ceremony of 2018 Citi-Vietnam Micro Entrepreneurship Awards was held at the hall of the State Bank of Vietnam – Hanoi.
In year 2018 was a remarkable year of MOM as we won the 2018 CMA award for Excellent microfinance organizations. In additional, MOM also won the typical Microfinance Organization in CMA 2015 & 2017. This is the precious award for great efforts of MOM in many years to overcome difficulties and light up the hopes of upward changing in the lives of poor women and low-income women.
This year, 2 members of MOM were recognized as typical Microfinance Client: Mrs. Vo Thi Kim Dung in Ward 5 – Go Cong town with industrial sewing group model and Mrs. Nguyen Thi Nga in Tan Hoa Thanh commune, Tan Phuoc district with knitting group model. Since 2011, 9 clients have won the CMA award. It created the motivation for MOM’s clients to make more efforts for their future.
MOM expressed its sincere thanks to SBV, Microfinance Working Group, CMA Organization Committee, CMA Jude Board and City Bank in Vietnam as well as to the leaders of Tien Giang authorities and Women union at all levels, credit group leaders and center leaders for their support and cooperation in improving the life condition of the poor women. We hope to continue receiving the great support from these partners and agencies.
