On 15/02/2019, Tien Giang Capital Aid Fund for Women’s Economic Development (MOM) honored to receive the Certificate of Merit from Tien Giang people’s committee for its achievements in implementing social security during the period 2011 – 2018. This is the result of efforts, hardworking of MOM staffs.
In recent years, besides providing microfinance services such as credit – savings for poor women in order to support women to invest in small businesses and create job to improve their lives, MOM leaders also pay due attention to charity activities such as provide scholarships to children of poor members, members with disability who overcome difficulties and student who study well; support to build charity houses for members with special difficult; run emergency support programs for members suffering from natural disasters, dangerous diseases.
During the period from 2011 to 2018, MOM spent nearly 3 billion VND for social activities. The Certificate of Merit creates motivations for MOM in cooperation with the poor to improve life, contribute to poverty reduction.
