
Leaving Soc Trang hometown, the family of Mrs Nguyen Thi Truc Giang set up house at My Loi hamlet, Phuoc Lap commune, Tan Phuoc district, Tien Giang province. Staying in the land of Uncle, she has earned her living by cultivating saplings of eucalyptus tree. In 2007, she was introduced by My Loi Women’s Union branch, she has been loaned from the MOM.
Approaching the loans of the MOM from the 1st round to the 9th round, she has received a maximum loan size: 10.000.000 VND. She had continued to invest in her production project. From the delivery in the neighbouring provinces, she and her husband had got bigger and more stable customers from Cambodia. Her work has developed gradually. And now, she can afford to care for 2 children: 1 child can go to school and that child is dioxin infected person. In addition, she also has helped 2 members of Women’s Union to have good jobs, additional income. With each employee, she pays rent for each job: Put fertilizer in the bag: 80.000 VND/kg, put tree in bag: 10.000 VND/1.000 trees.
From the day of leaving her homeland to the newland with a new career, in starting, she didn’t have a land to build a house, and as a household of poor families, difficulties in this commune. In present, she has bought a piece of land and she will build her dream house in this land on this October 2015. She deserves a typical example for the women to follow.
