On October 7, 2019, Tien Giang Capital Aid Fund for Women’s Economic Development (MOM Fund) cooperated with Tien Giang Lottery One Member Limited Liability Company and the Women’s Union of Tan Hoa Thanh commune to organize a house donation ceremony/charity house for Mrs Le Thi Diem – a member living in Tan Vinh hamlet, Tan Hoa Thanh commune, Tan Phuoc district. Funding was raised/ mobilized by the MOM Fund from Tien Giang Lottery One Member Limited Liability Company.
Mrs Diem’s situation is extremely difficult. Her family is very poor, she has a hunchbacked and her husband is disabled in both legs so it is very hard for him to walk. In addition, he is also hard of hearing. Although not as healthy as other couples, Mrs Diem and her husband still did not give up. They still try to work to earn a living to/and raise their 2 children. Despite her hard situation, Mrs. Diem still repays the loan well and she is a long time member of MOM. The house is a gift to share, motivate and support Mrs Diem’s family to escape poverty soon. Along with the house handover/ being given a home, Mrs. Diem also received gifts with full of gratitude/meaningful gifts in place of the congratulations of the guest representatives.
